We were roaming for some ramen and ran into this place today at around 11:30 (they open at 11:00 on Friday). It been a few months since I've dined here and quite frankly, I love this place. The place was empty when we got there. Daniel was the server. Took our order promply. We ordered a couple of tekkas.... Spicy tuna and unagi (eel) as well as edamame . Funny, I can spell it but not pronounce it lol. My dining companion ordered the Neko supremo ramen and I ordered the Neko black ramen. I asked Daniel to make mine extra hot since a really hot broth makes for better slurping in my mind. I got used to really hot broth while living in Japan and always ask for my broth to be extra hot. I find most places that serve ramen or pho have broth that is barely hot. Probably for two reasons. One when the noodles and other items are added or broth poured over, the broth cools and two, they probably have it just barely warm so some brain dead boogerhead doesn't sue the restaurant after burning their mouth. Ok, on to the food....... The spicy nigiri tekka was outstanding and definetly spicy.. tiny cubes of tuna instead of some mashed mixture you usually find. The unagi tekka was one pretty large piece of freshwater eel lightly basted with eel sauce. The edamame were crisp and tender. Daniel also brought out a couple of fried gyoza (on the house). My dining partner enjoyed her ramen and brought home half of it. My neko black was great. Piping hot broth, great chew to the noodles. The charshu (pork) was just fatty enough. The hard boiled egg was served whole and while the yoke was just undercooked enough, it was still a little cold. (Better to have a little less cooked and cut in half for better presentation IMHO. My broth was pretty tasty. Only left about a spoonful in the bowl. The bill was $44.98, great value, great food, I forgot to ask for a military discount but this place deserves five stars without it..

Ku'u is an amazing server! This is definitely our favorite ramen spot. The addictive cucumber is delicious, ramen is cooked perfect, and the sashimi is fresh every time

Im not a big going out to get ramen person. I like to make it at home or get pho. But Neko is my fav AYCE sushi so I had to try the Ramen next door. I like the thin noodles with the miso broth! And the handrolls and carpaccios were really good too. Just missing some ginger and wasabi. Service was very attentive and made sure to check us on regularly. And its so cute on the inside too with the decor.

I came here with my family for dinner. This particular plaza is full of great places to eat. Neko Ramen was delicious! The addictive cucumbers lived up to its name. We ordered more!!! The servers really wanted to have a positive experience and made sure we were seated right away (and comfortably). It's a small Ramen shop, but that made the atmosphere more intimate and lovely. I would like to think I am a pretty good judge of Ramen, and this place is rated high on my list. Enjoy.
